Craft Beer & Local Food Celebration

Craft Beer & Local Food Celebration

With 16 local eateries, 16 local craft breweries and 2 local cideries, the Craft Beer & Local Food Celebration was a great event to kick off a new year of fantastic food and drink! Hosted by Local Connections Halifax, the event was held at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront. Downtown Halifax sponsored the take-home glassware for tastings.

I'm sharing some of my favorite bites and sips from the event. I had so much fun running into friends and catching up with fellow foodies, I didn't quite get to each booth but I was feeling great and had a full belly by the time I left! I recommend checking out these local businesses and trying something new the next time you are out for food and drinks.

Hell Bay Brewing Co. – English Ale, distinct malty toasted flavour and medium body.

Dirty Nelly's Irish Pub – Lamb Meatball Sandwich, spiced tomato sauce, yogurt, mozzarella.
